The Shelter Trust Applauds the Dedication and Efforts of Volunteers
On behalf of The Shelter Trust and the Board of Trustees, thank you to all our volunteers for your time, dedication and support.
We are proud to recognize the exceptional contribution of our volunteers, whose tireless efforts have significantly impacted the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Jersey.
The hundreds of hours devoted by our volunteers, whether this is providing food, collecting and distributing donations and/or offering practical and emotional support, exemplifies the spirit of compassion and service to Jersey’s homeless community.
Our volunteers are essential and valuable members of our team, making a vital and positive contribution to individuals reaching out for our support.

The impact of our volunteers is evident in the positive changes witnessed within Shelter sites. Each month, our Outreach Team delivers over 100 food parcels to people who are struggling within the community, ensuring that individuals at risk of social isolation have a regular point of contact, including access to other Trust support and services.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to supporting Jersey’s homeless community and advocating long-term solutions to homelessness. The dedication of our volunteers provides a beacon of hope and serves as a powerful reminder, that together, we can make a difference.
