Shelter Trust Soup Kitchen 2025 – Thank You

Yesterday, the Royal Square was filled with warmth (despite the worrying weather forecast!), generosity, and the delicious aroma of over 40 different soups for Shelter's 27th Soup Kitchen. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the event raised an amazing £25,000 to help islanders affected by homelessness.

We would like to extend our grateful thanks to:

• The many local businesses and individuals who donated soup and bread

• All the volunteers who gave their time and energy

• And of course, everyone who joined us in the Royal Square to enjoy a cup of soup 

Since its beginning, the Soup Kitchen has raised nearly £300,000 to support the delivery of Shelter's services to our Island's homeless community.
