Rebecca Heaney
Until recently, Rebecca was a strategic consultant with specific expertise in SME and early to midcycle businesses. She worked with a range of sectors including technology, health and communications. Prior to this, she was one of the founders of CodeClan, the UK’s first accredited coding academy, which has revolutionized the training and education of software developers in Scotland.
As former MD of global digital marketing agency RAPP Scotland and UK board member, Rebecca was responsible for revenues of £10 million plus across a range of blue chip clients including LBG, RBS, De Vere Group, Scottish Power, Bank of Scotland, Children 1st, SSPCA and The Edrington Group.
Complementing her professional career, Rebecca has sat on various boards including Museum Galleries Scotland, Investing Women, and the National Theatre of Scotland. She was actively involved in fundraising for the King’s Trust through LWOB and has a passion for the Arts. In Edinburgh, Rebecca and her dog, Raisin, were volunteers for Therapets and she also worked with Homestart.
Rebecca graduated from St Andrew’s university where she studied International Relations and Management.
